Back in my golden years, I was a . . .

Homeschooled Nothing

Although opinions are cheap, I paid $13 for this domain name so I can share a few of my own. The Tales of a Homeschooled Nothing will be the chronicled experiences of me, Heath Marcom. Past and present will collide with humor, introspection, and authenticity as I map the music of my life—one post at a time.

I will aim for an even mixture of movie reviews, spiritual musings, existential/philosophical dilemmas, political discourses, and funny stories from my youth.

Fun fact: Every paper I wrote in college scored above a 90. I know this one fact cannot prove my writing abilities. Nevertheless, if you read the papers from my college days you would probably say, “dang, Heath is a decent writer,” or, “how did he get away with quoting an entire Billy Joel song while analyzing the Mayan creation epic?”

It’s one or the other, folks.

Correct.

My best work was titled, “Keith Malcom: The Boy Who Saved The World.” Peer reviewed, nominated for an award, and first runner-up in my homeschool co-op’s Sixth Grade writing fair. It was kind of a big deal.
